  • I've always enjoyed cartoons. Who doesn't, right? No matter who you are, if you get a newspaper you've got to turn to the comics page. A newspaper strip cartoon is what I envisioned The Cowbellis as, but I like the single panel cartoons, too. Magazines buy single panel cartoons a lot, so I went and bought the Graphics Artist's Market book for that year, poured through it looking for a good match for my cartoon style, and sent off mailings like crazy. Unfortunately, I never sold a one and nothing ever happened with them. No bites at all. I think they're funny, but I might be the only one who gets the joke. Maybe you'll get a chuckle or two.

    I've since lost a bunch of these somewhere. If I ever find the rest of them, I'll put them up here. If I ever make more, they'll probably get tossed in here, too.
