  • I bought my first Macintosh shortly after I started working on one in a graphic sense at the newspaper around 1993 and, shortly after getting it, I started learning HTML for using on this brand new thing that was out there: the internet. All I really ever used the internet for at the time was downloading guitar tablature of popular music off of AOL, but I wanted to make one of these new web page thingys ...so I did. I posted some drawings and cartoons on it and after awhile I got this email from some website called Fade To Black. They had this great idea they approached me with. They wanted to do a 'Where's Waldo' type of illustration but have Jesus in it, instead.

What a truly beautiful/blasphemous idea! I thought it was wonderful! They allowed me total freedom in every sense of the word and the only requirement was to place Jesus into the picture somewhere. "Where's Christ?" was then born.

Heck, I enjoyed it so much, I did two of them!

    UPDATE:

The above link takes you to what used to be the Fade To Black magazine, but t's since turned into something rather bizarre. I don't know where the actual image is from there and I don't really want to register at someplace called 'God is dead' -it's just way too blasphemous for me, honestly. If anyone is brave enough or has the time to dig through their site and find the 'Where's Christ' images, feel free to email me a link so that I can repost it, okay? Thanks! ;-)
