    		• I had rented the first season DVDs of the Sopranos one weekend and brought it home to watch. It hooked me at the first episode and I devoured them one right after another in succession until they were done. While driving back to BlockBuster to return the DVDs, I passed by a farm. Not an uncommon thing in Ohio, believe me. This particular day the cows were all out and wandering around. I remember a few of them lined up along the fence as I passed by and I thought "Ha! What a bunch of stupid animals."

    Then it occurred to me: what if they secretly weren't so stupid, after all? What if those cows were running a mafia-type ring there on the farm?

    Thus the Cowbellis were born!
