Darren Dorman, Bill McCracken, Scott Garthwaite, Chris Lauer, Dave Soles, our friends and girlfriends, and everybody and anybody we knew at the time were involved in recording a comedy album we called Tantrums on Tape (lovingly giving tribute to a small fanzine of Chris' called Temper Tantrum Anthems, which I also contributed various things to, including Abe's Eggrolls for the recipe page) and I wrote a bunch of scripts for it. A lot of stuff never got turned into recordings and were just sitting around unused, so I went through some of them and thought this one was unique, fast, and just perfect for a one-page cartoon. In fact, that's what the original Roadkill Bill from Frenzy was, a recording before it was a cartoon.
Boy, I wish I could find some of those recordings that I digitized at one point. If I ever do, I'll put them here. Naturally. That's what the point to this whole site is, right? Anyway, here's 'Roids Beer. |
